Eight extraordinary Brazilians embark on a transformative two-week journey across India — a land revered for its spiritual wisdom and living traditions. Each participant carries a deeply personal story of struggle and resilience — from the favelas of Rio and the forests of the Amazon to the bright glare of national fame. Among them are a celebrated footballer, a beloved actress who once played a role in a popular Indian-themed show, a queer artist, a favela youth leader, an Indigenous guardian, a reformed gang member, a public school teacher, and a young social entrepreneur.

Guided by Brazilian Vedanta teacher Acharya Jonas Masetti and Indian peacebuilder Mandar Apte, the participants travel across India to heal, reflect, and reconnect — not only with their own truth, but also with each other and with the timeless Indian wisdom of inner peace.

Their journey begins in Chennai, where they learn the powerful Sudarshan Kriya breathwork technique and experience the vibrant rhythms of urban South India. From there, they journey to the sacred Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, walk barefoot through ancient temple grounds, and rediscover reverence through rituals and rural hospitality.

Midway through the journey, they visit the awe-inspiring Mahakal Corridor in Ujjain, one of the holiest sites in India dedicated to Lord Shiva. Here, amidst the chants and fire ceremonies of one of India’s Jyotirlinga temples, they reflect on death, rebirth, and the power of inner transformation.

In Pilani, they engage in a dialogue with Indian students and scholars on the role of science and spirituality in modern life. The journey then takes them to rural Rajasthan, where they experience tribal culture, folk traditions, traditional cooking, crafts, and music in intimate village settings.

Finally, they ascend to Gangotri, the source of the sacred Ganga River. Here in the Himalayas, they enter deep silence, participate in a sacred water ceremony, and reflect on what they are ready to release — and what they will now carry home. In this remote, pristine landscape, they co-create a Brazilian fire ritual, sharing Indigenous wisdom, music, and stories with their Indian hosts — making this journey a true two-way cultural exchange.

Throughout the experience, the participants break bread with Indian families, travel by train, explore nature-based healing traditions, participate in Indian festivals, and form bonds that transcend language and geography.

From India With Love – Brazilian Edition is not just a documentary — it is a heartfelt tribute to the human spirit. It celebrates the power of ancient cultures to heal modern wounds, and invites a global audience to imagine a world where we choose dialogue over division, and reconciliation over revenge.
